“ACTIVE boats” have cutouts for a power switch, power connector and banana jack, passive boats don’t have those cutouts. If you already have a power board and a power supply you might want to add a power switch and power connector to an unpowered “active” boat. Boats ordered with power supply come fully assembled – no need to add those parts separatly.
